“Our product, NeuroScript is a tool to basically solve that issue. So it takes your rough output, your vague ideas, and it turns it into a thesis, helps you narrow down on that thesis. And then it creates a whole entire outline based on that thesis.”
Problem
Students often struggle with organizing their thoughts and ideas when writing essays, leading to disjointed and incoherent writing.
Technical Solution
NeuroScript is a tool that takes a student’s rough ideas and generates a thesis statement and outline, providing a structured framework for the essay. This allows students to focus on developing their own ideas within the provided structure, rather than simply copying pre-written essays.

About the DxHub
The Cal Poly Digital Transformation Hub (DxHub) is a strategic relationship with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and is the world’s first cloud innovation center supported by AWS on a University campus. The primary goal of the DxHub is to provide real-world problem-solving experiences to students by immersing them in the application of proven innovation methods in combination with the latest technologies to solve important challenges in the public sector. The challenges being addressed cover a wide variety of topics including homelessness, evidence-based policing, digital literacy, virtual cybersecurity laboratories and many others.
